3 displaced students selected for PIMMSAA award

Three displaced students living in the relief camps due to the ethnic conflict have selected for the 'Community Resilient Educational Financial Award' to be given by Pan India Manipuri Meitei Scientist and Academician Association (PIMMSAA) .
The selected students are Pushparani Yumnam (Class X) daughter of Yumnam Somorendra and Y Rebita Devi of Tronglaobi Makha Leikai, Bishnupur, who is studying at Little Bird's School, Moirang; Mangsatabam Beberani Chanu (Class XII-Arts), daughter of M Ibochou and M Ayingbi of Torbung Govindapur, who is studying at St Xavier's School, Moirang and Waikhom Bikash Singh (class XII-Science), son of Waikhom Bijoy Singh and Waikhom Nirmala Devi of Moreh Ward No 5 and studying at New Era Higher Secondary School, Thoubal.
It is said that there was no application from students studying in Class XII commerce.
The award distribution ceremony will be held on July 16 .
All the candidates (142 students) who have applied for the PIMMSAA award shall be given certificates, pens, and notebooks.
Correction: Only 3 displaced students are selected for the current year due to the non-receipt of the applicants in the XII Commerce Category .
