Cycle rally commemorates 10 years of BBBP

Bishnupur, February 06 2025: In connection with 10 years of Beti Bachao Beti Padhao (BBBP) scheme initiated by Prime Minister Narendra Modi with an aim for gender equality, a cycle rally and 'Prabhat Pheri' with message for educating the girl child and equal treatment of both genders was organised jointly by Bishnupur district administration, District ICDS Cell and Bishnupur district police on Thursday.

The rally, held to commemorate 10 years of BBBP scheme from January 22 till March 8, was flagged off from the Bishnupur SP's office by SDPO L Khogen Singh in the presence of ICDS Cell district programme officer H Sunitabina Devi, Bishnupur police station OC A Amitab and women police officer H Luxmi.

Around 100 women police personnel participated in the rally, which covered Bishnupur Bazar and Forest Gate before winding up at the starting point.
