5 from state among top 100 winners

Imphal, January 28 2025: Five Manipuri students were selected among the top 100 winners of Veer Gatha 4.0 competition organised by Ministry of Defence and Ministry of Education to infuse sense of nationalism among the students.

The five selectees are Laishram Enunganbi and Nivana Chakpram of UNACCO School; Ngaiiriiti Rothangri Monsang of Koinonia training school, Hnahringkhu village; Gaisiamliu Gonmei of Tent maker's Academy, Longmai, Noney; and Nemneineng of Vungzagen higher secondary school, Churachandpur.

Defence minister Rajnath Singh and education minister Dharmendra Pradhan presented the awards to the 100 selected students including the five from Manipur.

Of the 100 selected, 66 are female students.

Meanwhile, UNACCO School Khongman felicitated the two students who were awarded Veer Gatha 4.0 by presenting simple gifts.
