Kakching, February 25 2025: The 1st Annual Men's Open Football Tournament 2025 and U-15 Boys' Football Tournament 2025 organised by Citizen's Association for Rural Development (CARD), Wabagai in connection with 'Shannaroishinggi Numit'/Players' Day 2025 from February 23 at Kadajit Youth Welfare Associated Club (KYWAC), Wabagai playground concluded on Tuesday.

Eight teams participated in the men's open football tournament, while 10 competed for U-15 boys' honour.

In the men's open final, KYWAC outplayed Wabagai Educational Sporting Club (WESC) 4-1 and defeated Wabagai Awang Leikai Youth Development Association (WALYDA), 2-0 to wrest the U-15 title.

The closing function was attended by CARD, Wabagai president Huidrom Keshwarjit, All Manipur United Clubs ' Organisation vice president S Sanjoy, Kakching District United Clubs' Organisation (KADUCO) president Thingnam Chaoba, Wabagai Gram Panchayat ex-pradhan Yumnam Hemchand, former up-pradhan Keisham Premchandra, Social and Economic Development Organisation (SEDO), Hiyanglam founder president Elangbam Rajen, secretary Koijam Ajit, Wabagai Higher Secondary School principal in-charge Mayengbam Bhorot, and CARD advisors M Ibomcha, Dr W Ibomcha, M Joy as presidium members.
