Kakching MLA reviews developmental works

Kakching MLA Mayanglambam Rameshwar on Saturday toured his constituency and reviewed developmental works that can be taken up.
The MLA, accompanied by PWD Kakching Division executive engineer Y Lenin Singh, junior engineers Y Gupta and Ataur Rahman, inspected the condition of roads, playgrounds and other infrastructures at Sora, Pallel, Irengband Hawairou and Kakching.
Speaking to media persons, MLA M Ramesh-war informed that his visit was to see what developmental works could be included for his AC in the work programme for the upcoming financial year 2025-2026 .
He is planning to include blacktopping and construction of paver block paved roads in Sora, Irengband, Pallel, Kakching Sumak Leikai Sengrong to Ponjin Tumbi via Kakching Makha Leikai Panjao; repairing of schools and school play grounds, and drainages along with the canal from Kakching Keithel Macha till Kakching Wairi, in the work programme, he said.
The MLA said that hailed the Biren government for not extending the SoO agreement, conducting of biometric survey for illegal migrants, scrapping Free Movement Regime, construction of border fencing despite opposition in Nagaland and Mizoram.
He also said that all ministers and MLAs are firm on their stand for upholding the state's integrity and against the demand of Separate Administration made by Kuki community.
He further assured that despite the ongoing conflict in the state, he will take up various developmental works in the constituency after consulting the centre and state governments.
