ABVP leaders meet Guv, discuss issues post PR

Imphal, February 20 2025: A delegation of Akhil Bharatiya Vidyarthi Parishad (ABVP) Manipur led by secretary Gautam Philem and organising secretary Bhagwat Singh called on Governor Ajay Kumar Bhalla at Raj Bhavan on Thursday.

In a release, ABVP state office secretary Nepolian informed that during the meeting the delegation had detailed discussion with the Governor on various issues, including the education system, social concerns, and other pressing matters affecting students and youth.

They emphasised the need for urgent reforms in the education sector, better opportunities for students, and policies that can address the current socio-political challenges in Manipur.

Gautam Philem highlighted the organisation's commitment to ensuring quality education and youth empowerment in the state while Bhagwat Singh reiterated ABVP's dedication to working for societal development.

He urged the administration to take proactive steps in ensuring stability and progress in Manipur during this transition period, the release further stated.
