Bodies mourn demise of Kh Prakash

Imphal, January 19 2025: Manipur State Kala Akademi (MSKA) and Naharol Sahitya Premee Samiti (NSPS) have condoled the untimely demise of renowned Manipuri writer and lyricist Khumanthem Prakash Singh, who passed away on January 17 .

In a release, MSKA informed that its employees led by secretary Sunanda Thokchom on Saturday condoled the demise of Kh Prakash by observing a two-minute silence as a mark of respect to the departed soul.

MSKA also prayed for the departed soul to rest in everlasting peace.

Meanwhile, a condolence meeting of NSPS members presided by president Naoroibam Indramani Singh at Dr Kamal Literary Complex, Langthabal on Sunday observed a two-minute silence in respect of the departed soul and prayed for his soul to rest in peace along with sharing the grief of the bereaved family.
