Yogasana sports meet medallists feted

Imphal, August 18 2024: Kakching District Yogasana Sports Association (KDYSA) on Sunday felicitated its players who won five gold, two silver and two bronze medals at the 4th State Level Yogasana Sports Championship 2024 organised by Manipur Yogasana Sports Association and TC Enterprises at Ibudhou Marjing Polo Complex, Heingang from August 9 to 11 .

In a release, KDYSA informed that the players honoured during its regular yoga training programme held at Kakching Mayai Leikai multipurpose hall included Kshetrimayum Lanchenbi Devi (gold in sub-junior girls artistic & bronze in traditional individual event), Dinir Naorem (gold in junior boys artistic), Yengkhom Roshan Singh (silver in junior men's traditional individual event and gold in artistic pairs event), Thoubal District Yogasana Sports Association's player Moirangthem Malemnganba Singh (bronze in senior men's traditional individual event and gold in artistic pairs event), Kshetrimayum Binashakhi Devi (silver in veteran-A traditional individual event), Nongmaithem Manichou Singh (bronze in veteran-A traditional individual event) and Kshetrimayum Nungsirei Devi, who participated in the veteran-B traditional individual event.

The officials/coaches of the Association who participated in the championship as chief judge/judge including Kshetrimayum Mangi Singh, Naorem Ibomcha Singh, Naorem Tiken Singh and female coach Moirangthem Jibanlata were also presented with gifts.

The release continued that the event was attended by Association's advisory board members Kshetrimayum Mangi Singh, Naorem Amuyaima Singh, Naorem Munal Singh and Ksh Nabakishor Singh, Kakching District Olympic Association president Ksh Dharmadas, Social Welfare Sporting Club president Moirangthem Manihar Singh, Thoubal District Yogasana Association president Moirangthem Ibopishak Singh and KDYSA president Naorem Ibomcha Singh as members on the dais.
