ZUF dismisses press note of KD Gangmei
Source: Chronicle News Service

Imphal, May 15 2021: Zeliangrong United Front (ZUF) on Saturday dismissed the press release issued on May 3 by "KD Gangmei, self-styled MIP (deserter of the ZUF)".

In a statement, Hozam Thaimei, secretary of information & publicity, ZUF stated that "Pou Raitu Chawang, the revered chairman and S Kamson vice chairman of ZUF should not be unnecessarily blamed/mentioned by the deserters, who claim themselves as ZUF, and by the civil societies who seem to take more interest without proof of what they are actually saying".

Repeated clarifications on the alliance with NSCN-U and ZUF joining Indo-Naga talk under the banner of NNPGs to save the future of Zeliangrong have been well approved by all except some dialectic selfstyled leaders using Rongmei dialectic name to sabotage aged old dreams and mission of Zeliangrong political movement, ZUF said.

The fact is that ZUF is still intact with the united/col-lective leadership but KD Gangmei gang led by Jenchui Kamei are deserters and many of them have been expelled for selling out ZUF arms and properties for personal gains.

They formed a gang and falsely use the name of ZUF.

They are actually wanted persons for anti-people activities that the Zeliangrong and kindred tribes should understand.

It is not only a folly but a great crime to issue statements via media platforms without knowing the truth by civil bodies, the Front continued.

It went on, "The news report of RNCM, RNLPM, RN-SOM Longmai Area VAC and NWA Longmai Area presented a picture as if meeting was held (Covid-19 lockdown and strict SOP at Longmai township not to have any meeting has been in force) and this cannot be taken for truth.

Those leaders are betraying their own organizations by issuing press statements without proper executive meetings or general meetings during such a short duration - from 11th to 13th May, 2021.They are actually fooling the general public.

"Those so-called CSO leaders using Rongmei name who are working hand in glove with NSCN (IM) and other terrorist gang should clarify why and how such statements were issued within three days' time or ZUF will take it what it was they who planned treacherous act of traitor who decamped with arms.

They are playing with fire unwisely.

They should be pulled up to put records straight.

"The ZUF like other bodies or governments, follows own Constitution and punishes traitors with dire consequences on unavoidable situations of life and death.

People should not believe the so-called Rongmei group leaders who always try to sabotage the collective goal of the people.

And that those few leaders who are working on vested interest may step into their own traps of dooms day soon.

They sow the evil seeds of damages that they should not be allowed to do more destruction to our cherished goal laid down by the ancestors of the Zeliangrong movement in the 1930s, 1960s, 1980s and 1990s and at present by ZUF.

"Why mislead the general public regarding (L) Radamchui Kamei who was killed for serious treason and in perilous situation for the party.

The deceased was not cruelly killed but very reluctantly punished or else the Organization would be in danger.

The so-called leaders who published false news statements should come and clarify or prove their claims on the recent killing.

Civil society bodies are best advised to stay away from such complicated issues.

Misguiding the public to believe what is untrue and seeking Indian security forces against us is a serious crime.

This action of the so-called Rongmei leaders is being viewed seriously.

The public should not believe the false news of these bodies who are telling lie of having meeting on 13th May 2021"."It is a clarion notification to all concerned that stern actions would be taken against any individual(s) or orga-nization(s) if they continue to indulge in tarnishing the good name of ZUF under the instigation of the traitors of Zeliangrong people without verifying facts wilfully," ZUF added.
