Tree plantation drive conducted at Panchayat Lake

Bishnupur, August 13 2024: Toubul Gram Panchayat Administrative Committee in collaboration with Bishnupur district programme co-ordinator and Nambol CD Block conducted a tree sapling plantation drive wherein participants planted saplings in the name of their mothers, at Panchayat Lake, Toubul on Tuesday, as part of the 75th Van Mahotsav observance.

The programme was attended by Bishnupur district programme co-ordinator Bungba Maibam as chief guest and Toubul GP Administrative Committee chairperson Th Ningthemani Singh as president, while Nambol BDO T Shyamkumar Singh, Nambol junior BDO Ksh Thomi Meitei and District Legal Services Authority, Bishnupur member E Premjit Singh were present as guests of honour.
