Traffic detours announced for Assembly session

Imphal, February 06 2025: In connection with the 7th session of the 12th Manipur Legislative Assembly set to begin from February 10, the Traffic Control Police Wing has announced traffic regulations and diversions in interest and safety of the public.

The traffic regulations will be effective from February 10 until the session is over, except for the vehicles of persons attending the session or engaged in duty at the Manipur Legislative Assembly.

As per the order issued by Traffic Control Police Wing, all heavy and commercial vehicles will be diverted from Sangakpham road to Salangthong; from Khongnang Ani Karak to Dingku Road towards Lamlong Bridge and MMTA; from Watham Leirak to Thangmeiband Road towards Fishery crossing Lamphel; and from Singjamei to Pishumthong.

No commercial or heavy vehicles will be allowed to pass through the road stretching from Khongnang Ani Karak - Lilasing Khongnangkhong.

However, there shall be no diversion for any vehicle detailed or engaged for emergency services/duties, the order informed.
