Imphal, July 02 2024: Career Counselling Guidance and Placement Cell (CCGPC) of Oriental College (Autonomous), Takyel organised 'Counselling programme and on-campus screening for job assistance in BPO Sector' for its sixth semester students and alumni at the college on Tuesday.

A release issued by Oriental College (Autonomous) principal Dr S Ranjit Singh informed that the programme was organised in association with Helping Hands Career and IT Solutions Limited (HHCITS) Pvt Ltd, Imphal with which the college had previously signed an MoU to collaborate in the field of skill development and employability enhancement opportunities for students.

The programme presided over by Internal Quality Assurance Cell (IQAC) coordinator and CCGPC convenor Kongkham Biplob Singha was attended by HHCITS general manager Ch Ronika Devi, HHCITS manager (operations) Albin Shinglai and a seasoned BPO Instructor K Solomon, Meitei as speakers.

Following the technical session, students participatedin on-campus screening sessions conducted by HHCITS Imphal for their onward placement and training opportunities, the release added.
