Felicitation of faculty, pledge taking ceremony held

A felicitation function for the faculty of Kha Manipur College, Kakching, along with a pledge-taking ceremony by the college's faculty and staff to further develop the institution, was held at its multipurpose hall on Friday.
The programme, organised by the Kha Manipur College Staff Welfare Association and the College's Internal Quality Assurance Cell (IQAC), was attended by retired Judge of the Guwahati High Court, Justice Mutum BK Singh, as chief guest, while Kha Manipur College principal Dr Okram Rudrababu presided over the event.
University and higher education joint director Aribam Ramashankar Sharma and former principal of Kha Manipur College, professor Yumnam Sunitibala, attended the occasion as guests of honour.
The event was marked by the administration of a pledge by retired Judge Justice Mutum BK Singh, where the teachers and staff of the college vowed to work towards making Kha Manipur College one of the top institutions, ensuring the success of the college's mission and vision, and enhancing its standing in education and research.
The programme also featured the presentation of gifts to faculty members whose wards are pursuing higher education in the same college.
