MP Sanajaoba stresses collective effort

Rajya Sabha MP Leishemba Sanajaoba has called upon all including MLAs and ministers to work collectively with a long-term vision instead of just living each day in a mundane manner for the sake of monthly salary.
Speaking at the third foundation day celebration of Wakhallon Mannaba Apunba Kangleipak at the Loktak Hall of Manipur Press Club, here, on Wednesday, MP Sanajaoba opined that it is no longer the time for teachers to.
focus only on their monthly salary or simply teach what needs to be taught and perform their duties for namesake only.
Rather one should have long-term vision and a spirit of nationalism if we are to succeed in life.
While all may love the motherland, the love should take root after understanding the tumultuous history of the state, said the MP.
He also emphasised the need to be aware of current affairs, adding that the rise of valiant youth who would not shy away from giving up their lives for the motherland will ensure the longevity of Manipur.
However, such spirits are rare, he observed and urged for all to take a step back and understand the same.
The celebration was also attended by WAMA president Moirangthem Naokhamba Meetei, Hericoun president Yumkhaibam Surjitkumar Khuman, and All Manipur Recognise Private Schools' Welfare Association president Laishram Joy Khuman as presidium members.
