Cleanliness drives held across state

Imphal, September 24 2024: Thoubal district has been conducting a series of cleanliness drives across the district as part of the Swachhta Hi Seva Campaign 2024, which was launched on September 17 .

On Tuesday, a cleanliness drive was conducted by Thoubal Municipal Council officials and staff at the historical monument site of Anglo- Manipuri War at Thoubal Athokpam.

The cleanliness drive was also conducted at Gram Panchayat level in many localities in the district.

Earlier, PHED Thoubal Division carried out a cleanliness drive.

The campaign will conclude on October 2 .

In Pherzawl district, a tree plantation drive was conducted under the Ek Ped Maa Ke Naam Abhiyan at Pherzawl Government High School on Tuesday, as part of the Swachhata Hi Seva 2024 .

Students and teachers participated in the tree plantation.

Community Health Centre, Parbung also joined the nation-wide campaign by organising Sampoorna Swachhata and Swacchata Lakshit Ekayi events within its premises.

In Senapati district, as part of the ongoing Swachhta Hi Seva Campaign 2024, a cleanliness drive was carried out by various departments including District Youth Affairs and Sport in collaboration with SDOAM, DSA, SDBA, SDWA, and Basketball Association & Athletic Association at sports complexes like Sanyi Dahrii Sporting Complex and Senapati Astro Turf.

Schools under the Autonomous District Council also participated as various departments at the Mini Secretariat Complex cleaned their offices and surroundings.
