Training conducted on testing water quality

Kakching, September 23 2024:
Alliance for Development Alternative, Manipur (ADAM), Kakching, which is an Implementation Support Agency (ISA) for Jal Jeevan Mission (JJM), Kakching district organised a one day training programme at Angaan Ching Eco Park, Kakching on Sunday on testing of water quality using Field Testing Kit.
The programme held under the aegis of Kakching PHE Division and District Water and Sanitation Mission, Kakching was participated by select women from Keirak Gram Panchayat (GP), Mayeng Lamjao GP, Irengband, Sora and Bijoypur.
The participants were trained by Kakching PHE Division junior chemist Kh Dino Devi and laboratory assistant Bonny Sapam with support of JJM, Kakching ISA team members Kshetrimayum Ronel, Kshetrimayum Vikas and Kshetrimayum Bimolchandra on use of Field Testing Kit for checking water quality and uploading the findings on Water Quality Management Information System along with benefits for conducting frequent testing and reporting.
Prior to commencement of the training programme, tree saplings were planted at Angaan Ching Eco-Park as part of 'Swachhta Hi Seva' and 'Ek Ped Maa ke Naam' campaigns.
