Governor attends seminar on 'Krishna Tattva'

Manipur Governor Ajay Kumar Bhalla, on the occasion of Krishna Janmashtami, attended the inaugural functional the seminar on 'Krishna Tattva - Character Building' at Sri Sri Radha Krishnachandra Manimandir, ISKCON Temple, Imphal, on Saturday.
A release issued by the Governor's secretariat stated that during the inaugural function, the Governor released a special souvenir and the official website of ISKCON.
Before the inaugural function, the Governor, along with the First Lady, offered Aarti to Lord Krishna.
Addressing the gathering, the Governor said that the seminar on 'Krishna Tattva - Character Building' is an important reminder of the values that give meaning to human life.
He noted that qualities such as kindness, purity, non-violence, and compassion should guide daily living, especially at a time when globalisation and technology bring new challenges.
He added that the teachings of Lord Krishna hold deep cultural and spiritual significance in Manipur, inspiring art, devotion, and a way of life rooted in integrity.
The Governor further underlined the importance of protecting the character of children, as they learn best by example.
The youth should draw strength from the teachings of Lord Krishna to build moral strength and leadership, he said.
The Governor also inspected the stalls, many of which featured products made by internally displaced persons, and praised the quality and creativity of the items, the release added.
