State conference of ABVP, Manipur begins

Imphal, February 15 2025:
Akhil Bharatiya Vidy-arthi Parishad (ABVP), Manipur begun its three-day 10th state conference at Central Agriculture University (CAU), College of Agriculture auditorium at Iroisemba on Saturday.
The inaugural programme of the state conference was attended by Manipur University vice-chancellor Prof N Lokendro as chief guest, National Book Trust (NBT) India chairman and former ABVP national president Milind Marathe, ABVP state president Prof Premlata Maisnam, state secretary Goutam Philem as special guests, reception committee chairman and Thang jam Agro Private Limited managing director Thangjam Joykumar Singh, reception committee secretary and MU CDC director Prof H Sukhdeba Sharma, ABVP Imphal West Zilla Pramukh Dr H Sharatchandra Singh and ABVP Imphal West Zilla Sayojak Daman Thokchom as presidium members.

Speaking at the programme, ABVP Manipur state secretary Goutam Philem said that the conference aims to unite youth and propel them forward.
He emphasised that ABVP remains committed to the welfare of students and will continue its efforts in this direction.
By instilling a sense of nationalism among students, the organisation is taking on the responsibility of ensuring educational excellence.
Philem encouraged the students to foster nationalism and contribute to the development of Manipur.
As a part of the three-day conference, a photo exhibition dedicated to Netaji Subash Chandra Bose was inaugurated by RSS Manipur Prant Sanghchalak Dr Th Naranbabu Singh, College of Agriculture dean Professor Indira Sarangthem and ABVP Manipur treasurer Deepak Ningombam.
