Imphal, January 13 2026: In continuation of their Civic Action Programme (CAP), the 169 Battalion, Central Reserve Police Force (CRPF) distributed and installed play ground equipment today at Lamlong Government Higher Secondary School, under Porompat police station, Imphal East.

As per a press note, the community outreach initiative was taken up with the objective of promoting physical fitness, sports in education and fostering holistic development among school children.

Addressing the students and faculty as the chief guest, Lousham Romola Devi, Councillor, Ward No 23, emphasized the importance of sports in education along with academic excellence and role of physical activities in shaping confidence.

Meanwhile, Md Yasser Abbasi, 2-I/C, 169 Bn, CRPF expressed gratitude to the school administration, teachers, parents and local public present at the venue.

Other dignitaries present include Anish Kumar Sinha, Commandant, Jawed Hussain, Assistant Commandant, other officials of the CRPF and local dignitaries.
