State youths explore Hyderabad's riches

As part of the ongoing National Integration Tour organised by Assam Rifles, youth of Manipur experienced Hyderabad's rich cultural and historical legacy on the third day of their journey.
The tour, which began on January 8, and conclude on January 16, aims to foster national cohesion and understanding by exposing participants to cultural, historical, and scientific landmarks across southern India.
Informing this, a statement issued by PRO, IGAR (S) said that the day commenced with a Visit to the iconic Charminar, where the participants admired its architectural grandeur and learned about its historical significance.
The visit offered them an immersive glimpse into Hyderabad's rich heritage, highlighting the city's enduring legacy.
The group then explored the Salar Jung Museum, home to an extraordinary collection of art, antiques, and historical artefacts.
For many of the young participants, it was their first exposure to such a vast and diverse collection, offering a unique perspective on India's artistic and cultural heritage.
The visit continued at the Birla Science Museum, where the youth engaged with various scientific exhibits, sparking curiosity and broadening their understanding of science and technology.
The educational experience was complemented by a visit to the serene Birla Temple, where participants appreciated the temple's intricate architecture and enjoyed its tranquil environment.
The day concluded with a visit to a bustling mall, providing the participants with a modern urban experience that stood in contrast to the cultural and historical heritage they had encountered earlier.
After their enriching experiences in Hyderabad, the youth embarked on the next phase of their journey to Vi-sakhapatnam (Vizag).
The National Integration Tour, facilitated by Assam Rifles, continues to provide young participants with opportunities to explore India's diverse cultures, landscapes, and heritage, fostering a sense of unity and pride in the nation's rich diversity, the statement added.
