In his address , historian Dr Ratan Lal noted that the book would play a crucial role in helping people understand Northeast India better.
He criticised the education system for excluding the region from the mainstream narrative and suggested that the book be translated into Hindi to reach a wider audience.
Dr Seram Rojesh discussed the divisions within Manipur s society and the persistent violence, viewing the book, co-edited by Dr Arambam Noni and Dr Sapam Dilip, as a significant contribution toward finding solutions for the region.
