Free health camp held at Wabagai Lamkhai

Thoubal, August 02 2026: In observance of World Hepatitis Day, Meehul Clinic, Wabagai Lamkhai, organised a free health camp-cum-awareness programme at the clinic today to promote healthy living.

Speaking on the occasion, Associate Professor of the Department of Medicine, JNIMS, Dr Maibam Boby said the camp was organised with the aim of helping people living in rural areas, particularly those residing far from major hospitals, access essential healthcare services.

He said the initiative provided free screening for Hepatitis B and C and Liver Function Tests, besides creating awareness among people about gastro and liver-related diseases.

Around 110 individuals availed themselves of the services during the camp, while free medicines were also distributed to the beneficiaries.
