MLA RK Imo oversees health camp, relief effort

In an effort to safeguard the health and well-being of flood-affected residents, Sagolband MLA RK Imo supervised a comprehensive house-to-house health camp in Keishamthong on Saturday.
The camp, organised by a team of medical professionals led by UPHC Sagolband MO in-charge Dr Khomdram Babina, aimed to provide essential medical aid in the wake of recent flood caused by Cyclone Remal.
According to a statement issued by PRO of the MLA, residents received free medical check-ups and essential medicines, addressing the immediate healthcare needs of the community.
Additionally, clean water distribution was facilitated through the DC Imphal West in Kakhulong and Paona Keithel, ensuring access to safe drinking water in these severely affected areas.
A comprehensive cleaning drive of the Waisel Maril was also conducted to mitigate the spread of diseases from stagnant water.
RK Imo emphasised the importance of these initiatives, stating, "Our foremost objective is to ensure that every resident receives the necessary medical care during these challenging times.
We remain steadfast in our commitment to extending timely and effective health services to every corner of our constituency" .
