Agniveer recruitment rally begins in Senapati

Imphal, August 28 2024: Zonal Recruitment Office, Shillong launched a two-day Indian Army (Agniveer) Recruitment Rally at Sanii Dahrii Sports Complex, Karong in Senapati district on Wednesday.

The Senapati rally marks the beginning of a three-phase recruitment process in Manipur with the subsequent phases scheduled to take place at Koirengei, Imphal East district from September 3 to 5, and at Peace Ground in Churachandpur district from September 9 to 11 .

The recruitment process began with the Common Entrance Exam (CEE) held in April 2024, where 1,768 candidates from Manipur were shortlisted for the second phase, which includes physical test, medical tests and documentation conducted during the recruitment rallies.

Indian Army has made extensive arrangements to ensure the smooth conduct of physical tests, medical examinations, and documentation at the rally site in Senapati.

On the first day, 310 candidates appeared with the qualified candidates proceeding for the Physical Measurement Tests (PMT) and Physical Fitness Tests (PFT) .

The Recruitment Rally in Manipur continues to be a crucial platform for aspiring candidates to serve in the Indian Army, demonstrating their physical and mental preparedness for military service, said a release.
