Imphal, May 15 2024: In view of the recent attacks on non-Manipuris by motorcycle-borne people who came in groups in the market areas of Imphal during night time, members of Thangmeiband BJP Mandal will be patrolling the market areas to prevent such attacks.

Addressing the media at his Khoyathong residence, here, on Wednesday afternoon, Thangmeiband MLA Kh Joykisan informed that in the past few days, some group of people on motorcycle have been caught on CCTV footages kicking and punching unsuspecting non-Manipuris after dusk.

While revealing that the video clips have been placed before the chief minister as well, he urged the non-Manipuris residing in the market areas not to fret, adding that the youth of BJP Thangmeiband Mandal will be patrolling the market areas during the night time, as part of the CM's plan to maintain peace.
