Imphal, November 14 2024: Artiste Training Cum Educational Research Centre (ATEREC), Imphal on Thursday organised the 10th State Level Open Patriotic Song Competition-2024 at Manipur Dramatic Union (MDU) hall in Yaiskul Police Lane, Imphal.

The function was attended by Manipur State Social Welfare Board, former Chairperson, Dr RK Nayansana Devi; ATEREC Imphal president, Sobita Soubam; social activist Dr Soraisham Manaoton and Apunba Manipur Matam Ishei Kanglup (AMMIK), Bishnupur Centre president, Dr Thingbaijam Swarankumar as presidium members.

At the event, Dr RK Nayansana said that ATEREC has taken a good step by organising the competition which will foster a spirit of patriotism amongst the people.

ATEREC Imphal vice president Waikhom Bihari also spoke on the occasion.

Altogether, 40 participants competed in the competition.

Thokchom Lankhomba, Kshetrimayum Rupashya and Toijam Chalamba won the 1 st, 2nd and 3rd positions respectively.

While Sagolshem Krishibani, Lingjel Ashangbam, Ngariyambam Silky and Thounaojam Surjit received consolation prizes.
