Imphal, July 09 2025: Akhil Bharatiya Vidyarthi Parishad (ABVP), Manipur celebrated its 77th foundation day and National Students' Day with a series of events across nine Campuses on Wednesday.

The celebrations, themed around "Gyan, Sheel, Ekta" (knowledge, character, unity), with the stated objective to foster student leadership, academic excellence, and social responsibility, were participated by students, educators, and dignitaries from different walks in various districts.

At Manipur University, ABVP state president Prof Premlata Meisnam reflected on the organisation's journey and urged students to take an active role in national development.

She also addressed students at Maharaja Bodhchandra College on the importance of academic discipline and student engagement.

A seminar at Central Agricultural University (CAU), Imphal, featured Bhag-wat Singh and IAS officer Naorem Praveen deliberating on "Samarth Yuva, Viksit Bharat" (Capable Youth for a Developed India), highlighting the role of agriculture and innovation.

At RIMS, Imphal, a blood donation camp drew numerous student volunteers, while Model Higher Secondary School hosted RK Yaikhomba Singh, ABVP Manipur's state organising secretary, who called on students to uphold national values.

INA Auditorium in Moirang saw a Best Student Felicitation Ceremony, honouring outstanding students in the presence of Nambol MLA Thounaojam Basanta Singh, Bishnupur DC Pooja Elangbam, and ABVP national secretary Kamlesh Singh.

Other events included essay competition at Chingtam Foundation School, environment awareness session at Kangleipak Modern School, and seminar kt NIT Manipur where ABVP state vice president L Kamei encouraged students to embrace'inno-vation and entrepreneurship for national progress.
