Imphal, April 09 2025: Sagolband MLA RK Imo Singh inaugurated the newly built Shree Shree Radha Mandap (Hall) at Salam Leikai Mamang Leirak, in the presence of Ward No 7 corporator RK Jiten Singh and local community members.

The hall, funded through the MLA Local Area Development Fund, was constructed to address the locals' need for public gathering spaces.

During the event, the MLA highlighted several development projects nearing completion, including a G+1 multipurpose community hall at Babupara and a renovated club at Salam Leikai Maning Leirak.

He also noted his earlier contribution - a community hall at Salam Leikai Mayai Leirak.

Focusing on water supply improvements, Imo Singh announced that two water ATMs (one at Meino Leirak and another at Kwakeithel Leimakhujam Leikai) are ready for inauguration, and a new 50HP centrifugal pump (about Rs 3 lakh, personally funded by him) will soon be installed at the Nepra Menjor Reservoir.

Pipe repairs at the Tera Water Reservoir are also underway, he informed.

Additionally, the MLA reaffirmed his personal health aid initiative, MLA Ana Layengi Tengbang, which has supported nearly 300 families with Rs 20,000 each for treatment of serious ailments.
