'Khunggang Chatshi, Yum Yum Changshi' campaign launched

The "Khunggang Chatshi, Yum Yum Changshi" (Ghar Ghar Chalo, Gaon Gaon Chalo Abhiyaan) campaign launched by CM N Bi-ren under the instruction of PM Modi as part of BJP's foundation day celebration, from April 6 till 14, was also conducted in Wabagai and Hiyanglam assembly constituency of Kakching district on Sunday.
The launch programme of the campaign for Wa- bagai assembly constituency was held at Wabagai Thingel Leikai community hall under the joint aegis of BJP Manipur Pradesh OBC Morcha and BJP Wabagai Mandal.
The function was attended by Manipur Pollution Control Board chairman MLA Dr Usham Deben, BJP Manipur Pradesh OBC Morcha president RK Nongdrenkhomba and "Khunggang Chatshi Yum Yum Changshi" campaign North East in-charge Surendra Badaliya as chief fessor N Sanatomba talked about the books.
On the other-hand, a book titled 'Menstruation: Deconstructing Myths and Beliefs.', written by Elcy Sharma Shamurailatpam was released in a function held at Manipur Press fclub on Sunday.
The function organised by KIHOM was attended by Health minister Dr Sa-pam Ranjan as chief guest, DM University's Dean of School of Humanities Dr Chungkham Sheelaramani as president while Kshet-rigao MLA Sheikh Noorul Hassan and 2nd MR commandant Victoria Yengk hom were the guests of honour.
imphal: Pukhrambam Kunjo's two books titled 'Meecham Amagi Punshi Wari' and 'Henjunaha' were released during a function held at Library and Information Centre, Kakching auditorium on Sunday.
The function was attended by Sahitya Aka-demi, New Delhi Manipuri Language Advisory Board convenor professor Rajen Toijamba and Manipuri Literary Society, Imphal president Nongmaithem Kirankumar as presidium members.
Retired ZEO Pukhrambam Nimai and MU pro is due in 2024.During the campaign, monitoring visit will be conducted at every household and locality to check whether the activities taken up by the government for all including the OBC community, reaches the people.
On the other hand, BJP Hiyanglam Mandal under the aegis of BJP Manipur Pradesh OBC Morcha conducted the "Khunggang Chatshi,Yum Yum Changshi" campaign at guest, president and spe cial guest respectively.
BJP Kakching District president Kshetrimayum Indu bala, OBC Morcha president Ningthoujam Nando, Morcha vice president H Kennedy and BJP Wabagai Mandal president Maibam Nabachandra were also present as guests of honour.
Speaking at the function, MLA Deven informed that ministers and MLAs of BJP after coming to power have
been remaining active and conducting various activi ties for the welfare and development of the state and welfare of its people under the instruction of PM Nar endra Modi.
He further said that the campaign has been launched to commemorate 9 years of BJP government in the country and also to enable the party to serve the people further beyond the next Lok Sabha election which is due in 2024 .

The event was attended by Dr Radheshyam, campaign's North East in charge Surendra Badaliya, former BJP candidate of Sugnu AC Mayanglam-bam Binod, BJP Hiyanglam Mandal president Thoudam Hemanta and secretary Thounaojam Sanatombi.
