Training on tools, techniques in biological sciences held

Imphal, March 09 2025: A week-long National Level Hands-on Training cum Workshop on Modern Tools and Techniques in Biological Sciences organised by Mam-pur University Department of Life Sciences (Botany) and DBT-Builder from March 3 ended at the annexe building of the Department on Sunday.

As per a release by organising secretary professor Y Tunginba Singh, the valedictory function was attended by Department of Life Sciences (Botany) head professor Kananbala Sarangthem, Department of Life Sciences (Zoology) head professor Th Binoy Singh and DBT-Builder coordinator professor GA Shantibala as presidium members.

During the workshop, Indian Institute of Technology (IIT), Guwahati Department of Bioscience & Bioengineering (BSBL) professor Rakhi Chaturvedi; National Brain Research Centre, Gurgaon scientist-IV Dr M Druba Singh; BARC, Mumbai Chemistry Division scientist officer G Dr Raghumani Singh Ningthoujam; MU Department of Physics associate professor Dr Rakesh Moirangthem; DBT-Builder project scientist Dr Naorem Shanta; CSIR-NEIST, Lamphelpat chief scientist Dr H Birku-mar Singh; and Department of Life Sciences (Botany) professor Yengkhom Tunginba imparted training to the participants, it informed.

The release also stated that the training was participated by faculty members of various colleges and researchers from different varsities.
