Workshop on Universalisation of PRI/CBO held

Thoubal, October 22 2024: A one-day district level workshop on Universalisation of Panchayati Raj Institution (PRI) and Community Based Organisation (CBO) convergence project was held at the Counting Hall of Thoubal DC office complex on Tuesday.

The workshop was organised by Manipur State Rural Livelihoods Mission (MSRLM) in coordination with District Management Unit ,(DMMU), Thoubal under the Department of Rural Development And Panchayati Raj (RD&PR) .

Inaugurating the workshop, Thoubal DC A Subhash Singh said convergence of the project will benefit people of the district, while adding PRIs can help pave the way for a more holistic rural community development.

He then commended MSRLM for organising the workshop and urged all departments to join hands for success of various projects.

The workshop was attended by officials and staff of various departments.
