Imphal, May 15 2024: Like Minded Group (LMG), Manipur encouraged CoHSEM HSE-2024 science topper Malemnganbi Laishram of Khurai Sajor Leikai by presenting Rs 12,000 cash and memento to her.

A group of LMG led by its chief advisor Wangkhemcha Shamjai and advisory board member Kenedy Asem visited Malemnganbi's house on Wednesday and handed oVer the amount and memento.

According to LMG secretary Ojit Sorokhaibam, executive committee of the group decided to donate Rs 12,000 to Malemnganbi after learning that her father Romen works as a newspaper distributor (hawker) and mother Jugarani operates a tea hotel to run the family.

Meanwhile, Diamond TV and Wahong Radio presented Rs 20,000 to Aiena Naorem, who topped the commerce stream in the HSE-2024 examination conducted by CoHSEM.

Diamond TV and Wahong Radio broadcast on 90.0 Mhz conducted a live interview with Aiena Naorem on Wednesday and those attended the programme along with listeners encouraged the topper by pooling in Rs 20,000 .
