Governor assures Keithel vendors to resolve crisis

Imphal, August 13 2024: Governor Lakshman Prasad Acharya reportedly assured a delegation of Ima Keithel vendors that the centre and the state would resolve the ongoing conflict between two communities and make ail out efforts to bring viable solution.

He also informed that all agencies have been directed to co-operate with each other and make their best efforts to ensure safety and security of the people while appealing to the women leaders to extend their fullest cooperation to the government in bringing back complete peace and tranquillity in Manipur.

The Governor gave the assurances to representatives of the women vendors who sought his intervention in restoring peace and normalcy in the state.
