AMUCO presents ponies to Kakching polo body

Imphal, January 12 2025: Ahead of the 32nd foundation day of All Manipur United Clubs' Organisation (AMUCO) on February 12, the organisation donated four ponies to Kakching District Polo Association.

The ponies were handed over to the polo association in a function attended by AMUCO president Pheiroijam Nando Luwang, vice presidents MM Thambou and Ksh Rajen, general secretary Pratap Leishangthem, finance secretary Momocha Takhellambam, secretary (organisation) Laishram Krishnachandra Khuman, secretary (publicity) Heisnam Phoren Mangang and other functionaries, and Kakching District Polo Association president Thingnam Chaoba.

According to Nando, AMUCO has been distributing winter crop seeds to farmers across the state in the run up to its 32nd foundation anniversary.

Further stating that AMUCO has been promoting polo since the past few years and through -conduct of polo tournaments in Kakching in coordination with the Polo Association, he said the ponies were handed over to encourage the association organise polo tournament in district level and state level.
