MLA Rameshwar inspects site for Pallel Keithel

Kakching, June 11 2021: Accompanied by Manipur Police Housing Corporation Limited executive engineer Md Ahmad Ali, Kakching MLA M Rameshwar Singh on Friday inspected the site of Pallel Ima Keithel so as to commence construction work.

It can be mentioned that Union Ministry of Finance as a part of Atmanirbhar Bharat has sanctioned Rs 60 crore for construction of 10 Ima Keithels in the state under Scheme for Special Assistance to States for Capital Expenditure, out of which Rs 10 crore has been allocated for construction of Pallel Ima Keithal under Kakching assembly constituency.

During the inspection, MLA Rameshwar also interacted with members of Pallel Bazar Board Action Committee.

He also visited various parts of Pallel Bazar to see the requirements of the Bazar.

Speaking on the occasion, MLA Rameshwar praised the central government for allocating funds for construction of Pallel Ima Keithel, while also appealing to department concerned to oversee that the Keithel is constructed with strict quality control.

Manipur Police Housing Corporation Limited EE Md Ahmad Ali informed that the Pallel Ima Keithel which is to be constructed at a cost of Rs 10 crore will be 165 feet in length, 80 feet wide with G+1 floor.

As site has been fixed for the Keithel, very soon a tender will be issued and construction work will begin with the target of completing at the earliest while maintaining quality control, he added.
