No party to form council in ADC Tamenglong

In Tamenglong district no political party is in a position to form the district council since they have failed to secure working majority in the ADC elections.
The District Election Officer Tamenglong on
Wednesday declared the results of the Autonomous District Council Election late at night.
24 members of Indian National Congress (INC) bagged 10 seats while Bharatiya Janata Party (BJP) got 5 seats, Naga People's Front (NPF) 8 seats and one Independent got the remaining seat Those winning in INC tickets are Ramwangdin who got 1442 votes with narrow margin 142 votes from Tantunbou NPF candidate who got 1300
votes in 4- Tamei HQs District Council Constituency (DCC).
Tadinang Gangmei who got 1179 votes with big margin with 510 votes from G.Gonglinlung an Independent candidate who got 669 votes in 9-Oinamlong DCC; Hatlhing Doungel who got 971 votes with narrow margin with 119 votes from P.Thongsei Singson (BJP) who got 752 votes in 10- Phaitol DCC.
B Thambou who got 1665 votes with the margin of 285 votes from Forceson (BJP) candidate who got 1380 votes in 17- Haochong DCC.
Zino Kamei who got 1694 votes with big margin with 314 votes from PG Pouthaogai (BJP) candidate who got 1380 votes in 18- Noney DCC; Alart Thoitak got 1757 votes with big margin 820 votes from M.Daniel (BJP) who got 937 votes in 19- Dollang DCC.
SG Pammei got 2128 votes with big margin 706 votes from Makuphun Rongmei BJP candidate who got 1422 votes in 20- Khoupum DCC; Meirijin Rongmei got 1456 votes with biggest margin 700 votes from PH.
