BJP thinks for welfare, future of people: Sharda

Thoubal, October 06 2021: There is no other political party in India which thinks for the welfare and future of the people of India other than BJP, stated BJP Manipur state president A Sharda Devi.

The BJP state president stated this during Seva Aur Samarpan Abhiyan organised by BJP Khangabok Mandal under the aegisof Dr Khundrakpam Akoisana, who intends to be party's candidate from Khangabok AC in the 12th Manipur Legislative Assembly to be held in 2022 .

Addressing party workers gathered for the event held at Sangaiyumpham Idigah on Wednesday, Sharda said that no governments prior to the BJP-led government at the Centre took up welfare schemes which would help the people of the country in future.

Moreover, since its inception, the BJP led government at the Centre opened zero balance bank account for the people and launched PMJJY, PMSBY schemes.

These schemes would help people of the country in future but no governments in the past introduced such schemes.

However, political parties opposed to the BJP have been spreading wrong information to the people about these schemes, she said and appealed to people who are not getting benefits of these schemes to approach the nearest BJP office for availing the same.

In the entire world, it is only Prime Minister Narendra Modi, who is providing 5kg of rice and 3kg of lentils every month to 80 crore people of the country without any differentiation of caste or religion during this COVID-19 pandemic.

This shows that BJP does not differentiate people on the basis of socio-economic status or faiths but treats everyone equally, she added.

In his address at the event, Dr Akoisana said that he decided to contest the election with the main objective of making Khangabok AC self-sustainable and also to do something good for the motherland by becoming messenger of the people.

He then appealed to people to be cautious of those candidates who are trying to woo voters with money and muscle power.

Prominent leaders of BJP Manipur Pradesh also attended the event.

In connection with the event, A Sharda led party leaders and workers in distributing edibles to patients who are currently undergoing treatment at Thoubal district hospital.
