Question Paper Leak: Three more arrested

Cybercrime police have arrested three more teachers, including the SO, OC and SI of the Paradise English School examination centre in Thoubal district in connection with the Physics question paper leak during the Class XII examination conducted by Council of Higher Secondary Education, Manipur.
The three have been identified as YK College Economics Department assistant professor Khangembam Arundas (60) s/o late Kh Birchandra of Thoubal Kshetri Leikai, who is Supervisory Officer (SO) of Paradise School exam centre, school's biology teacher and officer in-charge (OC) Sapam Shivadutta (35) s/o S Manibabu of Khongjom bazar, and centre's Supervising Invigilator (SI) and biology teacher of the school Laishram Prabin (31) s/o L Jadumani of Yairipok Tulihal Laishram Leikai.
The three were rounded up from different locations on Wednesday after their names were revealed by two teachers of Paradise English School following interrogation by the Cybercrime police, after the duo's arrest on March 4.The three were produced before the Imphal West CJM on Thursday and remanded to police custody till March 10 for further interrogation.
It may be recalled that the Physics question paper was leaked 22 minutes before the scheduled start of the exam on March 3 and widely circulated on social media (WhatsApp).
Council of Higher Secondary Education Manipur (COHSEM) filed a complaint with the Cybercrime police, leading to the arrest of two individuals involved in the crime within 24 hours.
