AR inspires youth with series of outreach activities

In a continued effort to inspire ambition and strengthen communal harmony, a series of youth-centric initiatives were organised by Assam Rifles reaffirming the commitment to mentorship, education and integration across Manipur.
At Khangbarol Village School in Chandel district, a motivational awareness programme was conducted under Operation Sindoor, aimed at enlightening the students and the youth on the bravery of the Armed Forces and encouraging them to explore careers in the Armed Forces.
As per a release issued by HQ IGAR(South), the session witnessed enthusiastic participation from 140 students and faculty members, who engaged in an interactive discussion on discipline, leadership and national service.
Speakers shared real-life experiences from the Armed Forces, highlighting values of courage, resilience and teamwork.
Students were briefed on various career pathways, entry schemes and training processes, equipping them with practical knowledge and renew ed confidence.
Teachers and students expressed heartfelt appreciation for the initiative, acknowledging its role in fostering informed ambition and a sense of responsibility towards the nation.
In a parallel outreach effort, the Inspector General of Assam Rifles, Imphal, along with the Sector Commander Assam Rifles, interacted with students from Manipur studying at Assam Rifles Public School (ARPS), Shillong.
The officers commended the students for their optimism and enthusiasm, affirming that the younger generation holds the key to shaping a compassionate and inclusive future for Manipur.
