Assam Rifles constructs community centre in Moreh

Imphal, January 30 2025: Assam Rifles handed over a newly constructed Community centre with an accompanying toilet block at J Munnomjang Village, Moreh, Tengnoupal district, as part of Operation Sadbhavana on January 25, 2025.According to a release issued by IGAR (South), the community centre is designed to serve as a hub for social and communal activities, while the toilet block aims to improve hygiene standards and enhance the overall environment of the village.

This initiative reflects Assam Rifles' ongoing commitment to addressing local grievances and ensuring the well-being of the community."By providing these essential facilities, Assam Rifles is taking a proactive step towards fostering a more hygienic and positive living environment for the residents of J Munnomjang village.

This project underscores the importance of community engagement and the role of infrastructure in promoting health and social cohesion among villagers.

The event was attended by local civil society organisations and villagers, marking a significant milestone in community development.
