Bishnupur, September 29 2026: An international seminar on 'Contribution of Professor Kishore Chandra Padhi to the Sanskrit World' was held in hybrid mode today.

The seminar was organised by Radha Madhava Adarsh Sanskrit Mahavidyalaya, Nambol in collaboration with Maharshi Vyasadev National Research Institute, Vedavyas, said a press note by Radha Madhava Adarsh Sanskrit Mahavidyalaya.

Sanskrit University, Darbhanga, delivered the inaugural address, while Professor Harekrishna Satapathy, former ViceChancellor, National Sanskrit University, Tirupati, presided over the inaugural session.

Three technical sessions were conducted, with around 40 scholars from different states of India and countries including Nepal, Japan and the USA presenting research papers.

The scholars highlighted Professor Kishore Chandra Padhi's significant contributions to Sanskrit grammar and the Indian knowledge system.

The seminar provided a significant platform for international scholarly exchange and reaffirmed the importance of Professor Padhi's contribution to contemporary Sanskrit studies, added the press note.
