Ukhrul, July 25 2024:
Marking a significant milestone in the realm of digital publishing, Chihui Group has introduced its Colorbasket Digital Printing Press and Bookbasket Publishing House in Ukhrul district.
A grand opening ceremony of new facilities was held at the Tangkhul Theological Association (TTA) conference hall here on Thursday with Ukhrul deputy commissioner Zuringla Kengoo and Tangkhul Naga Long (TNL) president Sword Vashum as chief guest and functional president.
Launching the new facilities, Kengoo and Vashum offered their congratulations to the Chihui Group and wished them success.
Proprietor Aran Chihui credited the fulfilment of his dreams to God's grace.
"God, my family, my friends, and my community are what I hold most dear in my life and through this venture, I am committed to be a service to my people all in the name of the Almighty,'' he shared.
Reflecting on his entrepreneurial journey, Chihui recounted how he began selling plums when he was in fifth grade.
"Years later, I launched Colorbasket, a service focused on concept design.
Though I"m basically a concept designer, I"ve successfully brought my ideas to life using digital tools, thanks to the support of my friends," he explained.
Now, with Colorbasket nearing its 11th anniversary, he emphasised that every entrepreneurial venture should begin modestly and evolve over time.
Housed at the TTA campus in the heart of the town, the new facilities are designed to meet the high-quality digital printing and publishing needs of the local community.
Chihui also shared that his initiative will closely align with efforts to spread the gospel, in order to provide young people with access to valuable Christian literature.
The event was attended by reverend Dr Wungramthan Shongzan, TBC Kohima hymnal pastor reverend Zingyat Shaiza, KPBC Vision pastor reverend Varemi Zingkhai, Heritage Publishing House proprietor & chief editor Dr Lanusangla Tzudir, IMS proprietor Shylock Taishya, Solutions Centre co-founder Soreingam Nakhedei, Buddy Brews proprietor Theophilus Rangmathat, UBC pastor reverend Remember Rimai, Bumrei Baptist Church pastor reverend Joshua Zimik, National Commission for Women (NCW) advisor Soso Shaiza and Autonomous District Council (ADC), Ukhrul CEO David Kashungnao among others.
