'Meeyamgi Numit', Hill Leaders' Day organised across state

Imphal, February 24 2023: CHANDEL: District Hill Leaders' Day & 'Meeyamgi Numit' for the month of February was held at the multipurpose hall, Mini Secretariat, DC complex, here on Friday.

As part of the programme, additional DC commissioner Md Firoj Khan distributed various items to beneficiaries of different schemes.

Under the ZEO Chandel, text books, activity books and uniforms were distributed to students of Lamphou Pasna Aided Primary School.

Other materials like mathematics kits, volleyballs, badminton rackets, etc., and MDM plates were also handed over to the school.

Departments like Health, Social Welfare, Agriculture, ICDS and others rendered services to many denizens.

Free medical check-ups were also conducted by the Health Department at the venue.

In the programme, applications related to developmental works and others were also received.

PHERZAWL: District administration, Pherzawl organised District Hill Leaders' Day & 'Meeyamgi Numit' at Sibapurikhal Government High School in Vangai range sub-division on Friday.

SP A Ghaneshyam Sharma, SDO (Tipaimukh/Vangai) I Dinesh Kumar Singh and other district level officers (DLOs) led by DC Haulianlal Guite physically listened to various grievances of the public.

Altogether, 1614 services of different government schemes/ben-efits were delivered to beneficiaries including 30 under Integrated Child Protection Scheme from CWC under DCPU; issuance of 24 death & 100 birth certificates, 20 CMHT/PMJAY cards and medical check-up of 63 patients by Medical Department, 43 vaccinations and 43 treatments of animals by Veterinary & AH Department; issuance of 307 ration cards by CAF&PD; distribution of 16 uniforms & textbooks by Education Department; 20 Aadhaar cards issued by DIT; 10 MOAPS, 18 new registration for GAPS, 65 registration for UDID, one widow pension registration, 11 new registration for PMMVY under ICDS by Social Welfare Department and issuance of 300 domicile, 300 tribe, 90 income and 137 birth affidavit by Revenue Department.

Enrolment of CMHT/PMJAY/Aadhaar will continue till Saturday.

As part of the event, 14 stalls of different departments were set up along with conducting awareness programme on POCSO Act (Child Trafficking & Child Right) by CWC and display of VDVK products and awareness by Forest Departments.

Meanwhile, as part of the monthly event, District Health Society, National Health Mission organised one-day District Level Orientation Programme of Coordination Committee and Enforcement of COTPA for various stakeholders under National Tobacco Control Programme (NTCP) .

TENGNOUPAL: District Hill Leaders' Day and 'Meeyamgi Numit' were held at the office complex of DC Tengnoupal on Friday.

During the programme, DC Ranjan Yumnam along with the district's SDOs and officers of the different departments inspected the stalls and interacted with the public.

At the event, Forest Department distributed 712 tree saplings; Health Department screened 11 people for blood sugar level and seven for hypertension; Social Welfare Department distributed pensions to four persons under Chief Minister Widow Pension Scheme, eight persons under Manipur Old Age Pension Scheme and to two beneficiaries each under Pension Scheme of person with disabilities (PwD) of CMST and Care Giver Allowance for PwD.

Agriculture Department issued two SMAN forms; Horticulture & Soil Conservation Department raised awareness on various schemes under it; Education Department distributed 24 sets of school uniforms and textbooks, three First Aid Kits, six mathematical boxes and 15 sports items; Transport Department issued two driving licenses and received two license applications; Revenue Department issued three Land Holding Certificates and two Dependent Certificates; ICDS distributed six PMMVY forms and conducted Nutrition Mela along with creating health awareness.

KAMJONG: District Hill Leaders' Day & 'Meeyamgi Numit' was organised at Sadbhavna Mandap, Kasom Khullen sub-divisional headquarters by the district administration.

DC Rangnamei Rang Peter, SP P Manjit, top level police and civil officials along with other DLOs attended the event and heard the grievances of the public.

Numerous mobile stalls were opened to cater to the various demands and redress grievances with CMO, ICDS, DSWO, MSPDCL, DAO, District Handloom & Textiles, District Forest Office, CAF&PD, SDO office, etc., being the most active stalls.

DC Rangnamei also distributed welfare items and cards of various welfare schemes of different departments to several beneficiaries.

CMO Kamjong also catered to the numerous health-related grievances of people that turned up at the programme.

On the sidelines of the event, DC, SP and SDO Kasom Khullen also held an interaction session with headmen and village-chiefs of Kasom Khullen sub-division regarding the construction of Shangshak-Tengnoupal road.

KANGPOKPI: District administration, Kangpokpi organised District Hill Leaders' Day and 'Meeyamgi Numit' at T Waichong Government High School, Tujang Waichong sub-division.

DC Kengoo Zuringla inspected stalls of the various departments and instructed officials to provide maximum service to the villagers.

The villagers were given benefits under different departments including income certificate, CMHT cards, sprayers, etc., at the programme.

On the other hand, VDVK products including pickles and other eatable products were made available during the event.

KAKCHING: District administration, Kakching organised 'Meeyamgi Numit' at DC's Office Complex from 10 am to 2 pm.

Twenty nine line departments opened their stalls fo.r delivering public services and addressing public grievances during the day.

At the programme, DC Somorjit Salam distributed several items to the disabled people who were selected as beneficiaries under Assistance to Disabled Persons for Purchase/Fitting of Aids and Appliances (ADIP) of Social Welfare Department including one wheel chair standard, three smart phones, three smart canes, two tri cycles, three hearing aids, one CP chair and five elbow crutches.

District Social Welfare Office, Kakching also resolved issues related to three CMST destitute older people along with distributing 69 old age pensions, 21 widow pensions, nine disability pensions, three CMST Caregiver allowances and two UDID.

DSO (CAF& PD) issued 11 new ration cards along with addition of 20 new members and deletion of six members from ration cards.

MAHUD processed 12 birth and two death registrations.

Textiles, Commerce & Industries issued 10 Weaver ID and received 28 application forms for Pehchan Card.

BISHNUPUR: District administration of Bishnupur conducted the monthly 'Meeyamgi Numit' at Panchayat Resource Centre, Mini Secretariat Complex on Friday.

DC Lourembam Bikram, SP N Herojit Meitei and ADC H Bobby Sharma led the DLOs in hearing various grievances of the people.

Stalls of various departments and banks were set up to provide different services and.

benefits to the people as part of the Day.

Services related to the CMHT, Old Age Pension, Widow Pension, ration card, etc., were provided along with handing over of weaver cards, yarn cards and CMHT cards to beneficiaries.

THOUBAL: 'Meeyamgi Numit' was organised by district administration of Thoubal at DC Complex election counting hall on Friday.

The programme was led by DC Ahanthem Subhash, who along with other DLOs heard grievances of 150 people.

Speaking to media persons on sidelines of the function, Subhash informed that 12 Care Taker Allowance Cards were provided to 12 PwDs under CMST and 130 grievances were acted upon till 1 pm.

The event was also attended by SP Jogeschandra Haobijam, SDO (Thoubal) M Ranjana Devi, SDO (Lilong) Angom Shijalembi Chanu and other DLOs.
