MSSC launches website to streamline job processes, enhance transparency

In a move aimed at enhancing digital governance, chief secretary Prashant Kumar Singh launched the official website of the Manipur Staff Selection Commission (MSSC) http://manipurssc.mn.gov.in at his office chamber, here, on Monday in the presence of MSSC chairperson T Ranjit Singh, secretary Dr Rangitabali Waikhom and other officials of the commission besides M/S CubeTen technologies Pvt Ltd managing director Haobam Joyremba.
The website, developed by CubeTen, aims to streamline the state's recruitment processes and enhance transparency.
Speaking on the occasion chief secretary PK Singh informed that the state government set up the Commission to streamline the recruitment process of the subordinate services/posts to government departments, organisations and autonomous bodies, semi-government organisations, etc., and to ensure that uniformity and transparency is maintained in conduct of the examinations.
Commending the Commission for launching the website, he noted that it will enable aspiring candidates to conveniently obtain all examinations and recruitment related information.
The chief secretary also emphasised the importance of this digital initiative, stating, "The launch of the MSSC website marks a pivotal step in our commitment to transparent and efficient recruitment.
By leveraging technology, we aim to provide equal opportunities and streamline the selection process for all aspirants" .
In his address, MSSC chairperson T Ranjit Singh informed that the Commission is committed to the general public and will ensure that the Commission functions with transparency, fairness, and efficiency.
The launch of the Website is a step forward in the right direction of embracing the latest information technology to make the Commission fully functional.
The website will be useful and informative for the general public.
The Commission has already on-boarded on e-office filing system, thereby providing an effective, efficient and transparent digital workplace, he said.
The newly launched website serves as a comprehensive portal for job aspirants, offering features such as online applications, real-time notifications, document verification and examination resources.
Additionally, the site is optimised for mobile devices, ensuring accessibility for users across various platforms.
The MSSC will utilise the platform to conduct examinations, publish results, and manage candidate databases, thereby reducing administrative overhead and expediting the recruitment cycle.
With this launch, Manipur joins a growing list of states embracing digital solutions to enhance public service delivery and governance.
