Ukhrul, February 21 2026: The Office of the Litan Sareikhong Tangkhul has issued a clarification regarding its recently circulated message of gratitude, acknowledging that the names and details of some well-wishers and supporters were inadvertently left out.

In a statement released today, the committee expressed sincere regret over the omission, stating that the oversight was unintentional and did not reflect any lack of recognition or appreciation.

It appealed to the public not to misunderstand the situation, assuring that a revised and inclusive message containing complete and accurate details would be shared soon to properly honour all concerned.

The committee further sought continued understanding, patience, and support from the public as it works to rectify the matter in a respectful and inclusive manner.
