New office bearers of IMA-MSB take charge

Imphal, March 19 2023: New office bearers of the Indian Medical Association, Manipur State Branch took over charge for the term 2022-23 during the annual "Spring Festival" held at the IMA House Lamphelpat, here, on Sunday.

According to an IMA-MSB release, Dr RK Lenin Singh, Dr James Elangbam and Dr Soram Goutam will be president, state secretary and treasurer of the Association for the term 2022-23 .

While informing that IMA is the single largest association of MBBS Doctors established in 1928 where all the doctors irrespective of their speciality or affiliation can be a member, the release also conveyed that a Medical Students' Network (MSN), IMA, Manipur State Branch was also launched as part of programme on Sunday with membership from students of the four medical colleges of Manipur.

Stating that IMA stands for the promotion of health for all and care for the health care givers, the release also sought suggestion and support from all the members of society.
