Imphal, April 18 2026: As part of the global Lions Environment Service Week 2026, the Lions International District 322D, Manipur Region, organised a massive clean-up drive today at the iconic Khwairamband Ima Keithel.

The event was held under the theme, "One Multiple One Activity".

The drive was led by prominent figures including IPDG Th Kesho Singh, Gojendro, Manikumar, and District Coordinator GST-II, Dr Rajmani.

To mark the commencement of the Environment Service Week, the leaders also released pigeons at the Ima Keithel premises and took a collective pledge to protect and preserve the environment.

The campaign is set to expand beyond the capital, with 37 Lions Clubs across Manipur scheduled to carry out similar environmental activities at the district level.

Officials noted that while the State-wide movement begins today, Khwairamband Ima Keithel was chosen as the significant starting point for the mission.
