Imphal, September 15 2026: The observance of Hindi Diwas with a vibrant programme was held at COB Komlakhong, bringing together personnel of Assam Rifles, teachers and students of Moral Guidance School, Komlakhong.

Assam Rifles undertook the initiative with the aim to promote linguistic awareness, creativity and cultural appreciation among the youths, while highlighting the importance of Hindi as a language of communication and national integration, said a press release by Assam Rifles.

The event featured poem writing and recitation in Hindi, alongside an interactive motivational awareness session on the significance of the language.

These activities provided the young participants with a meaningful platform to express their creativity, enhance confidence and develop an appreciation for literature and public expression.

The students participated with enthusiasm, reflecting their eagerness to engage with the cultural and linguistic heritage of the nation, added the release.
