Imphal, July 06 2026: The Board of Secondary Education Manipur (BOSEM) on Monday declared the results of the High School Leaving Certificate Examination Compartmental and Special Examination, 2026 .

The results were announced at BOSEM's conference hall in the presence of Secretary S Jitelal, Controller of Examinations Ayam Thoi and other officials.

Speaking on the occasion, S Jitelal said the Compartmental Exam was held from June 22 to 29 .

Out of 3,307 candidates who appeared, 3,266 passed, recording a pass percentage of 98.76% .

In the Special Exam for sportspersons who missed the main exam due to participation in national and international events, all 5 candidates- 3 boys and 2 girls- passed, achieving 100% pass.

He said students who failed in up to 2 subjects were allowed to appear.

Science and Social Science recorded the highest failures.

The Board is analyzing reasons for the poor performance in these subjects, he added.
