Training Programme begins at MSME Technology Centre, Nilakhuthi

Imphal, August 03 2026: A six-day training programme for shortlisted MSME beneficiaries under the Chief Minister's Entrepreneurship Support Scheme (CMESS), a component of Startup Manipur 2.0, began on Monday at the Training Hall, Food Park, MSME Technology Centre, Nilakhuthi.

The programme is organised by the Planning Department, Government of Manipur.

Dr RK Radhesana, Director, Planning Department; Dr RK Tombisana, Joint Director, and Dr Sinam Yoirentomba, Deputy Director, MSME TC Imphal, attended the inaugural session.

Speaking on the occasion, Dr Yoirentomba said the department is supporting beneficiaries through initiatives like 'Buyers & Sellers Meet' and participation in national and international trade fairs.

He urged citizens to avail Government schemes to become job creators and strengthen the state economy.

He also informed that special provisions under CMESS have been made for IDPs staying in relief camps.
